About HomeFolk
A wooden odessy by illustrator and designer Jay Daniel Wright. Jay began his career as a carpenter and later attended art school to study illustration. After 10 years working as an illustrator and building a visual world, the carpentry and drawing collided and he started to translate his pictures into wood. Eventually he thought it was only fair to start sharing them with other people, so he started HomeFolk.
Sustainability information:
Wood - 90% of all wooden material is sourced from the leftovers bin at the local hardware store. Other wooded materials like wooden dowel and beads is sourced fro my local craft store in Berlin.
Hardware - All fixtures and hardware (except carabiners) is sourced locally from the DIY store close to the workshop.
Packaging - A big bulk of the packaging is from found materials like egg boxes and second hand packaging materials.
All collected by bike of course :)
